In Hospital

Dear Y1/2 G,

I am in hospital. I had a bit of bleeding from my tummy. I am now waiting to go and see the Doctors at King's College Hospital, London. Miss Di Nucci and Miss Wakeland are coming to see me today. I hope the school play goes well and to see you all soon.

Love from

Ellen

P.S. You can send me messages by 'commenting', I would love to hear from you.

  1. Dear Ellen, I was wonderful to see you today, and even better to hear that brilliant laugh filling your hospital room...I'm surprised we didn't get in trouble by the doctors and nurses for being so loud!
When we returned to school, I told all the boys and girls about our visit and they were so happy that you liked the cards and pictures. They are delighted to know that Justin will be spending some time with you.
I look forward to reading the blog and finding out that you will be home again very soon.
    Thinking of you
    Love
    Ms Di Nucci
P.S. Big sloppy kisses from Jules and Sasha

  3. Dear Ellen,
I am missing you as I had to watch Peter Rabbit on my own and Arthur doesn't laugh when I say "bottom" like on Dispicable Me 2. Good luck tomorrow.

  4. Dear Ellen,
I have been down to Ringstead today, and think that there is something magical going on there in secret! I think that Father Christmas is practising with his sleigh over Whitenothe at night, there are marks on the grass that could be sleigh marks, and also footprints and holes that could be from Reindeer feet! I will try and phone you tomorrow and tell you all about it.
Papa and I send lots of love, and to Mummy as well, and hope that the doctors in London get you better very quickly. Lots of love from Granny Gill XX

  6. Dear Ellen,
Just to let you know that the school play went very well this morning, of course being Isabel and Christina's mum I thought that Mrs Claus and one particular angel were the best!! But I have to admit that everyone else was very good too, especially someone who said No, No, No a lot (or was it Ho Ho Ho??) and someone else with a very red nose who people kept saying was either Daft or Not So Daft...anyway, you probably know who I mean!
Speak to you soon - Clare

  9. Hi Ellen,
Your Mum sent us the link to your blog, Orla and I have been reading about how you have been getting on. The play was very good today - we took lots of photos to show you when you are back home. I was very glad I wasn't sitting in the front row - a group of very strange aliens threw their underpants at the audience - I don't think anyone was expecting that!
Orla, Adam and Galtee are all here beside me and say "hello again"," feel better soon" and "Woof !".
See you soon, Love Anne and John

  11. Dear Ellen
Lois and I had just been saying that we would like you to come for a play and then your mum sent me the link to this blog. We hope that when you get better you can come over for your dinner and a play if you think you can brave Rosie (who has to wear a special dog nappy at the moment!!!!!!!!) and Harry who cries loads. I think we could all do with some advice from you on managing little brothers. I hope you are back home and feeling better really, really soon and looking after that tortoise!
    Love from Suzanne xx

  15. Dear Ellen,
We are so glad you are now feeling better, it makes us happy. We have seen the video from Toby as he sent it to us after you - it is VERY VERY funny isn't it!
I think Toby is very clever to play the guitar like that, and Charlie too. In fact they are all very clever!
We hope you go back home tomorrow, and you can watch it again there with George and Arthur.
Lots of love, and thank you for phoning me this afternoon, it always makes Grannies happy when you do that!
Love from Papa, Granny Gill and Minnie XX
