Update

Ellen is doing as well as can be expected. The temperatures and mucoscitis seem to have stopped, but she is very tired and all her hair has now come out. She is on IV antibiotics and is being fed via naso-gastric tube. We still have a few weeks before her bone marrow will hopefully start to pick up and we will find out how successful this course of chemo has been in attacking the leukaemia.

  1. Kerry has kept me updated and I am just so terribly sorry that this has happened.

We know she is a tough little girl, no little girl deserves this, but with determined and wonderful parents like you, and with your supportive and loving family, you can beat this.

Please let me know if there is anything that we can do. We are keeping the bravery box well stocked and if there are any bits in particular she likes, let me know so I can get hold of some for her.

  2. Hi Ellen you don't know me but I had the pleasure of living with your naughty uncle Toby at university and he told us about the horrible time you are having and how brave you are being. All of the Nuttalls are thinking of you and your mummy and daddy so much.

It sounds like you are a true fighter - hang in there and get well very soon.

Lots of love James, Ashley, oli and immy Nuttall xxx
